CIAO MR. HAL designs and creates thoughtful, well-built, sustainable landscapes that are site specific and respond to the clients brief. We believe quality of work and communication is the key to a successful outcome.

The landscape design and planting design process is personal and simple. First by phone - an initial introduction where we chat on the phone, discuss your project brief and ideas and set up an onsite consultation. Then by foot - we walk the landscape and discuss your project - the landscape and it's characteristics, the build, ideas, style/s, favourite plants, desires - what you want out of your garden, what do you see as it matures, how do you connect to it and the type of maintenance required. From here we are back in the studio where a design brief is developed together with a design proposal outlining each of the stages, the fees and payment terms. Once agreed, we get to work on Stage 1 - developing your bespoke landscape design and meeting the deliverables set out in the proposal. Stage 2 is the concept design implementation - overseeing the implementation of the creative vision through to completion.

CIAO MR. HAL understands that owners require fresh ideas to renovate their existing garden. Again the process is personal and simple. We get in touch by phone, discuss your garden ideas and a fee for the onsite consultation. A time is organised to walk through your garden where we discuss desires and ideas for your outdoor space. CIAO MR. HAL designs and makes bespoke objects and sculpture either for a particular landscape, interior or person and is an integral part of his art and design process.
