These new characters are part of CIAO MR. HAL’S motley crew. Using found objects, tools and recycled materials, Hal constructs bio-morphic abstract pieces, turning once in-animate objects into unique figures, deity’s and ceremonial masks. He explores ideas around symbolism, tribalism and the connection to nature and spirit with intention and humour.
