This character is a continuation of CIAO MR. HAL’S cuckoo series. Using found objects, tools and recycled materials, Hal constructs bio-morphic abstract pieces, turning once in- animate objects into unique figures, deity’s and ceremonial masks. He explores ideas around symbolism, tribalism and the connection to nature and spirit with intention and humour.
Material: Recycled Oregon, recycled metal, Cutek Oil, Resene whitewash and exterior wood stain.
